What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director, Corporate Development position at Amneal Pharmaceuticals?
- The Associate Director, Corporate Development will serve the role of: (1) delivering high quality financial analysis in support of M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, (2) leading due diligence efforts both internally and externally by managing timelines, meetings, reports/deliverables, etc. and by interacting with investment banks and external parties, (3) leading select transactions or aspects of complex transactions, (4) playing a lead role in integrating acquisitions , and (5) being the primary interface between Corporate Development and Finance to support post-deal analysis, capital raising, SEC filings, etc. This role will report to the Vice President, Corporate Development and across functional areas to support the company's strategy for inorganic growth.

- Actively participate in the diligence process for M&A and other strategic partnerships including performing analytics, market research, developing detailed financial models and presentations

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Life Science degree or equivalent - Required
- Master Degree (MS/MA) An advanced degree in biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or related disciplines or relevant coursework - Preferred
Experience:
- 8 years or more in Minimum of 8 years of business experience required, preferably in investment banking in Health Care and/or Pharma role, with at least 2 years direct work experience on M&A transactions, managing or leading deal process, including due diligence, financial modeling and management reporting
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and participate on cross functional teams. - Intermediate
- Excellent analytical, modeling, and valuation skills a must. - Intermediate
- Deep valuation and modeling experience (Excel power user). - Intermediate
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and interpret complex problems. - Intermediate
- Strong business research and financial analysis experience. - Intermediate
- An ability to generate a broad and productive internal network, understands how to manage across various internal Finance groups (tax, accounting, etc) - Intermediate
- Highly skillful negotiator including negotiation strategy design - Intermediate
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. - Intermediate
