Job Title: Production Technician

Job Summary: As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for daily production activities on the shop floor, including manufacturing production batches, filling containers with products, unloading bulk tankers, and performing minor maintenance tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manufacture production batches and maintain accurate production records.
- F fill containers and unload bulk tankers safely and efficiently.
- Follow lab instructions and label containers appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any process or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory management activities.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push/pull containers weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy.
- Prior training in hazard communication, lift truck operation and safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), basic safety protocols, and DOT hazardous materials regulations.
- Detailed knowledge of ASI product lines, plant layout, and quality systems.
Training Includes:
- Hazard Communication, including chemical-specific training.
- Lift Truck Operation and Safety, including attachment safety requirements.
- PPE training, including respirator fit test and use.
- Basic safety training: Emergency Management, Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space policy, Hot Work Permit, Fall Protection, etc.
- DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations.
- Familiarity with ASI product lines and quality systems.
Schedule and Compensation:
- 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.
- Competitive starting pay, based on experience.
