About the Role:
amp™ is looking for a skilled and aesthetically-driven Videographer / Gaffer / Editor to join our NYC-based production team. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on filming high-quality in-app fitness & social marketing content in our Queens location. You’ll work closely with our Producer to capture studio-grade visuals with a strong creative eye, professional lighting setups, and a deep understanding of post-production workflows.
This is a collaborative and execution-heavy role that helps define the look and feel of our in-app experience. You’ll advise on equipment purchases, own the lighting and camera setup, contribute to editing workflows, and help bring out the best in our trainers and content. Are a one-person production powerhouse with both creative vision and technical expertise. You love being hands-on, setting up lights, dialing in camera settings, directing talent, and then jumping into the edit to bring it all together. You’re nimble, resourceful, and thrive in fast-paced, high-performance environments. You know how to move fast without compromising on quality, and you're energized by working solo or as part of a lean, collaborative team.
Primary responsibilities:
- Bring out the best features of our product through intentional, simple, and aesthetically-driven visuals, translating complex functionality into content that’s clear, digestible, and beautiful
- Film and light high-quality fitness content for in-app use, branded shoots, and digital campaigns
- Collaborate closely with the Producer to plan and execute production days efficiently and creatively
- Advise on and manage camera, audio, lighting, and grip equipment, including making gear recommendations
- Set up and break down professional lighting (Aputure, ARRI, etc.), camera rigs, and audio
- Operate cameras and direct talent with clarity and confidence during shoots
- Capture both hero footage and supplemental b-roll with purpose and visual excellence
- Handle on-set problem-solving with professionalism and agility
- Maintain high standards of quality across all content, adapting for different platforms if needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including post-production, social, and marketing
- Own or contribute to the post-production process, including organizing, editing, color correction, motion graphics, and final delivery
You bring…
- 7 years of experience filming, lighting, and editing original video content, ideally for digital platforms or publications
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro; After Effects and Photoshop are a plus
- Deep technical knowledge of camera gear, audio, and lighting setups (C100/C200/C300, Blackmagic, RED, Aputure, etc.)
- A strong aesthetic sensibility with attention to composition, lighting, and motion
- Experience planning and executing shoots: shot listing, call sheets, gear planning, and crewing up
- A proactive mindset, you're a go-getter who’s comfortable jumping into last-minute shoots and problem-solving on the fly
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A great attitude, flexible schedule, and team-first mindset
- Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule as needed

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
