Job Title: SharePoint Consultant

Location(s): Emeryville, CA

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Consultant who can take on the dual role of Solutions and Technical Architect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint architecture, development, and consulting, with the ability to design and implement robust SharePoint solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Analyze business requirements and design SharePoint solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall SharePoint architecture, including site structure, security, and governance.
• Implementation: Lead the implementation of SharePoint infrastructure and solutions, including custom development, configuration, and integration with other systems.
• Development: Create and maintain SharePoint sites, subsites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform system maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the SharePoint systems are secure, and data integrity is maintained.
• User Support: Train and support end-users to ensure effective use of SharePoint.
• Best Practices: Conduct research and provide guidance on SharePoint best practices.
• Consulting: Provide expert advice and guidance on SharePoint best practices, including user adoption, governance, and information architecture.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users to ensure effective use of SharePoint.
• Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute SharePoint upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of SharePoint solutions, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and user guides.
  
  

Must Have:

• Experience: Proven experience as a SharePoint Architect or similar role.
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online.
• Proficiency in SharePoint development using SPFx, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PowerShell.
• Experience with SharePoint migration tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint governance, security, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and related technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Secondary Skills (Good To have):

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, and Teams.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Certification in SharePoint or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of the retail domain and its specific requirements.

• Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Dynamics 365 Developer Associate
