The Role
This is a full-time onsite position that is responsible for participating in a team effort in assembling medical products and maintaining a steady flow of production. This position will report to the Director of Operations and Production Manager.
Responsibilities and Job Duties
Under the guidance of the R&D and Production Manager, this position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Solder and de-solder electronic components for through-hole and SMD assembly board.
- Soldering, crimping, and assembling cable harnesses.
- Make modification(s) on prototypes and or products as needed.
- Assist in packaging products for shipment or inventory.
- Assist with maintaining inventory and general housekeeping of the work area.
- Working with prototypes/products for modification as needed.
- Assist the R&D team in helping with assembly, prototypes, and or fabrications.
- Built and make cables and cable harnesses as needed.
- Familiar with and have knowledge of electronic components.
- Knowledge of ESD and handling electronic boards.
- Responsible for compliance with ESD and ISO.
What We Look for In a Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two to three years of experience with electronic assembly work and utilizing hand-soldering techniques in both through-hole and SMT work.
- The ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- A high degree of accuracy and quality in all related work.
- Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform general physical activities by considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, to lift, balance, walk, stoop, and using hands and arms in handling and moving materials.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
