Job Title: Commercial Lines Underwriter & Senior Underwriter (Carriers)

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46240

Work Environment: Hybrid (2 days onsite 3 days’ work from home)

Salary: Underwriter - $70-78K with 10% bonus

Senior Underwriter – $80-90K with 10% bonus

Must Have Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial Underwriting experience in CARRIERS NOT AGENCIES
• Proficiency in desktop tools, underwriting systems, and email systems.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external customers
• Adaptability to change.
• Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing
  
  

Interview Process

• 3 1-hour virtual interviews
  
  

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and process assigned renewal policies, ensuring adherence to underwriting standards and guidelines.
• Answer incoming calls from agents and make adjustments to policy information.
• Collaborate with agents and other departments to grow and maintain a profitable book of business.
• Provide guidance and effective communication to internal and external customers.
• Conduct profit and growth analysis and monitor premium retention.
