What are the responsibilities and job description for the MANUFACTURING CLERK position at AMSOIL INC.?

AMSOIL INC. is now hiring a Production Worker! In this role, you will work on the rail spur unloading raw materials in a safe, efficient manner. This position reports to the AMSOIL center located in Superior, Wisconsin and has a work schedule of Monday - Friday 7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm with occasional overtime.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Unload raw materials and load product when it is ready to be shipped
  • Move raw material or product to storage area
  • Assist in other areas of production including on the packaging line, assembling kits, and filling containers
  • Operate a forklift in a safe manner to move product

Position Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to wear and safely use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a safety harness, in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and industry safety standards.
  • Must be able to safely and securely wear the harness while performing job duties. The safety harness has a weight limit of 310 pounds, which includes both body weight and any additional gear.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors at all times of the year. Outdoor work is performed in a covered area.
  • Willing to work at varying heights including climbing on rail cars and tanker trucks
  • Learn to operate a forklift (This is done on the job)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and be capable of self-direction
  • Must have high attention to detail and desire to produce quality work
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and repetitively lift for long periods of time
  • Availably 40 hours / week, Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. with occasional overtime

  • Pay details - Hourly
  • Starting pay - $18.00 per hour
