Position: Risk Engineer
Location: Chicago (preferred) / Columbus, OH / Minneapolis, MN / Detroit, MI – Onsite 3 days per week from start
Duration: 3 months CTH
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with IT, Risk, and Cyber teams to optimize and automate risk controls.
- Design, develop, test, and implement automation for technology controls.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for code development and lifecycle management.
- Support periodic control testing and maintain automation scripts.
- Lead innovative design and development of new automated controls.
- Foster continuous improvement and stay current on industry practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 10 years in risk management, engineering, or technology roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or certifications in technology or risk management.
- Expertise in Python, Ansible, and Agile practices.
- Experience with IT platform engineering, GRC tools (e.g., Archer), SPLUNK, and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk assessment tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
