Join our team in Dallas as an Associate Underwriter!
This position is in office position based in our Dallas, TX office.
We are looking for people with:
- 1 or more years of prior insurance experience and/or related degree from an accredited four-year university
- Ability to earn a P&C License within 90 days, cost reimbursed and study support provided by Amwins
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft 365 proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheets
- Effective communication skills, verbal and in written
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to prioritize important and pressing tasks
Each employee is a vital member of our production teams, providing:
- New and renewal account information gathering
- Requesting and keeping track of missing information from outside sources
- Consistency checkpoints
- Assistance in accounting procedures such as invoicing
- Data entry into multiple internet based systems
- Incoming call management for the team
- Marketing support
- Submission preparation
- Coverage need determination
- Client visit support
- Account Current, Bordeaux, & Hit Ratio reports are completed monthly by this position
