Experience with various types of material handling equipment, including a sit-down forklift.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of products within our warehouse.
Duties
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries
- Move products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks
- Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
-Maintain traceability of parts and perform data entry into the ERP/WMS system
- Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of goods received and shipped
-Technological capabilities
-Strong written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Lift 50lbs (standing, bending, stooping)
- Computer software (Excel, Microsoft 365, Word, Access)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for inventory management tasks
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
