Anakeesta is seeking Guest Service Agents. They are the first point of contact with our guests and represents our image to the public. They are our ambassadors of adventure, entertainment, magic, and excitement, providing a memorable representation of the experiences to be had at Anakeesta!
Responsibilities
- Provide guest service that exceeds expectations
- Must be knowledgeable of all activities, able to assist guests in selecting the most appropriate activities taking into consideration their family size, ages, and length of stay
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Conduct smooth transactions through Anakeesta’s POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Sells General admission tickets, zip-line tickets, vouchers, online admission ticket purchases, online zipline adventure purchases, Annual Passes, special events, etc.
- Scanning of park entrance tickets including online purchases
- Ability to provide low level resolution regarding guest issues and escalate to the Guest Services Supervisor or Guest Services Manager, when appropriate
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide directions to specific areas, information regarding special events, operating hours, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of working area as well as the surrounding Parkway; this includes picking up debris left by guests (empty cups, napkins, brochures, etc.) and mother nature (sticks, leaves, branches, etc.)
- Ensure that all supplies are well-stocked at the beginning and end of day
- Communicate with other team members to ensure up-to-date information is always provided to guests
- Ensures Brochure racks are stocked with Anakeesta Brochures, and communicates to Guest Services Supervisor when more are needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Proficient communication skills.
- Relevant work experience in sales, guest services in the hospitality, theme park or travel/tourism market preferred
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment, have a sense of urgency to complete projects and be detail oriented required
- Professional, friendly, and a positive-solution oriented attitude required
- Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground
- Must be able to sit at a desk and computer workstation for up to 8 hrs a day
- Able to work in all-weather conditions.
