Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for Manufacturing Assembly Operator to support our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics, and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

We are looking for microwave electronics assemblers with:

• 3 years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience.
• First Shift Position - 7 AM - 3:30 PM
  
  

Requirements: The Manufacturing Assembly Associate position requires a high school diploma. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus.

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation
• Operation of a computer
• Commitment to learn and develop new skills
• Security clearance is required (application will be done through ADI)
  
  

Specific Responsibilities:

• Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
• Assembly of microwave subassemblies using hybrid techniques.
• In process inspection and self-inspection.
• MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.
• Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.
• Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies.
• Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline.
• Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
• Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination.
• Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.
• Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings. and work instructions as well as other job activities.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $24 to $30.
