The Systems Analyst works within the Enterprise Systems team to optimize business processes and support the applications used by the Administrative departments to run the business. This includes, but is not limited to, implementing new and upgrading existing applications, developing integrations between applications, automating manual tasks, running periodic jobs, and developing new reports and notifications. The Systems Analyst will be involved in business analysis, development, testing, and deployment. This position is also responsible for resolving production problems and providing technical support.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the business processes within the Administrative departments, learning their key functions, data needs, and integration points, both technical and organizational.
  • Work with the business users to understand requirements and application functionality/capabilities to identify potential efficiency improvements to existing business processes.
  • Learn the appropriate applications, data, and processes used and supported by the firm.
  • Implement vendor solutions with internal departments including vendor selection, requirements gathering, design, testing, and integration with existing systems.
  • Translate vendors’ product roadmaps into actionable items or suggestions for improvements that align with business needs.
  • Partner with users and manage projects, system upgrades, or new implementations to completion.
  • Automate existing business and technical tasks, minimizing the number of manual processes.
  • Document application integration processes and participate in cross-training.
  • Perform application administration/monitoring activities.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative functions such as troubleshooting and end-user problem resolution for AG applications.
  • Facilitate testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance. Perform post-resolution analysis to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
  • Provide production support, documenting the problem-solving process.

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal travel to one or more AG offices may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 4 years of substantive relevant work experience required.
  • An ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience in professional services or legal industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills and quick response time to internal and external requests.
  • Strong, creative problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong attention to deadlines.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with hosted/cloud solutions.
  • SQL Server – Experience with stored procedures, Transact SQL, SSIS packages, Integration Services, and Reporting Services required.
  • Power BI - Experience with Power BI, tabular models, and dashboard development a plus.
  • SharePoint – Experience with SharePoint Online a plus.
  • Microsoft Office – Strong understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Experience with mobile application technology a plus.
  • ERP – Experience reporting from and integrating applications with financial packages. Elite 3E and Intapp products experience a plus.
  • CRM – Experience with integrating data from CRMs into other applications. SugarCRM experience a plus.
