- Hiring Pay Range: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
- The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary
- Server Administrator I: Responsible for configuration, installation, and maintenance of servers and other related equipment. Responsible for daily server operability and monitoring. Responsible for responding to received email requests.
- Server Administrator II: Responsible for advanced server configurations, operational changes, and monitoring scenarios. Provides general guidance in advanced troubleshooting to Server Administrator I positions. Controls and monitors backup and recovery infrastructure. Responsible for cross-train development of staff in areas of expertise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain practical knowledge of PC hardware setup, installation and maintenance.
- Maintain practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and Office Suite.
- Maintain basic knowledge of server and storage components such as host servers, virtualization, hypervisors, SAN technologies.
- Maintain practical knowledge of DNS, DHCP, print sharing, firewalls, and associated cabling.
- Maintain basic knowledge of data archiving technologies.
- Maintain basic knowledge messaging technologies such as email and mobile device management.
- Ambition to learn and use new software programs and tools, attending associated courses as deemed necessary or as assigned.
- Maintain good organizational skills, communication skills, effective documentation, and troubleshooting ability.
- Willingness to follow instructions explicitly.
- Practice good reasoning ability and expressing a willingness to ask questions.
- Maintain alertness and ability to concentrate in and out of the office environment and for extended periods of time in some cases.
- Adherence to escalating problems to superiors in a timely manner, keeping them informed from open to closed.
- Responsible to provide on-call support for Server Administration team on rotating weekly basis.
- Willingness to travel multiple days at a time and occasionally on a moment’s notice.
- Install, configure, and setup server equipment in server rooms, and IT closets.
- Install, configure, and maintain software on corporate servers, appliances, enclosures, and components.
- Utilize and administer monitoring systems for hardware and software server health, capacities, and environment variables, responding to alert conditions in accordance with established priority levels.
- Maintain assigned schedules for active and upcoming projects for the Server Admin department, keeping direct manager aware of status as necessary.
- Identify and resolve computer and storage or messaging problems in a timely manner.
- Document all calls and problems using corporate ticketing and incident handling software.
- Attend assigned meetings and adequate preparation, in absence of manager.
- Understand and follow all established policies and procedures explicitly.
- Complete all required courses and exams in a timely manner.
- Be accountable for your actions.
- Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.

Education and/or Experience
Server Administrator I:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in networking in the LAN/WAN environment, preferably with Microsoft products.
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Network Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Preferred previous experience with virtual technologies, messaging technologies, and cloud technologies.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Server Administrator II:
- 5 years of related experience, and/or training.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 - 4 years of experience in data backup and recovery infrastructure management.
- 3 - 4 years of experience in networking in the LAN/WAN environment, preferably with Microsoft products.
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Network Operating Systems.
- Knowledge or experience with Commvault preferred.
- Knowledge of backup hardware systems (SANs, Tape Libraries, etc.)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Preferred previous experience with virtual technologies, messaging technologies and cloud technologies.
