Administrative Assistant

POSITION: Administrative Assistant
DEPARTMENT: CORONER
THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION UNDER A GRANT, THAT REQUIRES THE EMPLOYEE TO WORK A MINIMUM OF 24 HRS A WEEK (MONDAY-WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY).
Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant performs a full range of secretarial, advanced clerical work methods and administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant is ultimately responsible for the efficient operations of the Office environment.
He/she handles project-oriented duties and may be held accountable for the timely completion of these tasks. Emphasis is placed upon relieving the Coroner and/or Chief Deputy Coroner of routine operational and administrative detail.
In-depth knowledge of and the ability to interpret Anderson County Office of the Coroner Standard Operating Procedures, County rules, regulations and ordinances are required. Work is performed with considerable independence.
