What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Food Runner position at Andrew's Bistro?
Looking for 4 self motivated candidates For Host/Hostess and Food Runners. These are separate positions Experience preferred but will train the right person. Restaurant opened Tuesday thru Saturday, 4- 9pm. Closed most Sundays and Mondays. Holidays are required. Host position- Great people, Sit them according to floor plan and rotation.
About the Position: In the Host/Hostess role, you will coordinate seating of guests to provide fast and courteous service. Answer phones for reservations and takeout.
About You: You are friendly, outgoing, and driven to succeed. You have a strong passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
Food Runner: Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of restaurant menu to insure correct items being delivered to guest tables
- Courteous service to our guests
- Able to communicate effectively with our guests and team members.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Able to lift and carry boxes and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for 4 hours possibly more
- Food runner duties include, but are not limited to:
- Folding, packaging, labeling orders as they are made for takeout and Delivery Service.
- Keeping station clean, stocked and organized throughout the shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 25 per week

- Evening shift
