MA Job Description:
Experienced Medical Assistant with prior experience in Pain Management is a plus. Must have knowledge of EHR- entering History & Physical, Vitals, Medications. Good communication skills along with reliability and Teamwork required. Salary based upon experience.
*Job Description:*
* Answer calls from physician offices and patients as needed.
* Schedule follow up appointment
* Attach/enter incoming information to EHR system and schedule patients as needed.
* Call patients to request more medical information if needed.
* Demonstrates overall knowledge of authorization, benefits and medical record processing for all patients
* Demonstrates the ability to make decisions, assess and resolve problems effectively.
* Demonstrates the ability to carry out assignments independently, work form procedures, and exercise good judgment.
* Demonstrates the ability to maintain the confidentiality of all records
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands given tight time constraints while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
* Experience with C-Arm procedures in interventional pain management preferred
* Responds professionally to all inquiries from providers, patients and colleagues in a timely manner.
* Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with all staff in order to resolve problems
* Assist other MAs as needed
*Requirements:*
* Preferred experience with procedures in Interventional Pain Management: 1 year
* Medical Assistant: 1 year
* Exceptional attendance is required to ensure efficient operations
* Certified: MA, CPR
