Customer Service Representative

An Anesthesia Billing Company in the Bettendorf area is looking for an experienced individual to work in our customer service department.

General duties include, but not limited to:

• Answer incoming calls from insurances and patients as main function
• Making calls to patients to collect prepayments or request information
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes and modifiers
• Familiarity with HCFA-1500 forms
• Ability to read and understand insurance remittances
• Medical terminology, and insurance practices knowledge recommended, but not required

Qualifications for the ideal candidate:

• Must have outstanding telephone communication and customer service skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be HIPAA Compliant
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accurate typing skills
• Must have excellent critical thinking skills

Salary commensurate with experience. Medical billing/insurance background preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.

Must be a High School graduate or equivalent with strong analytical skills.

Full time position with benefits after completing a 90 day probationary period
