Bartender
We are seeking a skilled and experienced bartender to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers. The bartender will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, managing inventory, and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their drinks and overall experience.
Base Pay: $12/hr plus tips
Location: Angel Fire Resort restaurants
Employee Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Category: Seasonal- Part-Time and Full-Time Available
Required Certs or Licenses: Must have prior to first day of work-Food Handler Cert(www.nmfoodhandlers.com), NM Alcohol Servers License (www.waytoserve.org)
Leadership Responsibilities: No
Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, flexible, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays
Environment: This is an indoor position which includes working in a busy restaurant. Must be able to stand for entire shift occasionally carrying 50lbs
Minimum Age: 21 years old

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all customers are satisfied with their drinks and overall experience
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Upsell drinks and food items to customers
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
