Executive Director

Angels Senior Living is seeking an experienced Executive Director to manage all aspects of our assisted living and memory care community located in Sarasota. To be considered for this position you must possess a minimum of five years’ experience as an Executive Director role in assisted living/memory care and have a true passion for people.

The key responsibilities of this position include overseeing and managing the day to day operations of the community. You will hire, train and supervise employees and ensure adequate staffing. Maintaining and enhancing resident independence and satisfaction is a key role. Participating in sales and marketing activities while implementing annual business directives to achieve the financial goals is a critical aspect of this position. Maintaining high occupancy through marketing strategies is a key factor to your success.

We seek experienced and independent Executive Directors who have successfully managed small, large, and income-based through high-end upscale assisted living communities and understand the day to day operations. Ability to maintain a secure physical environment and build an outstanding team takes skills and dedication. A proven track record is a must.

A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, gerontology, business or related field is preferred and the successful candidate must understand and interpret financial statements to manage a budget. Our Executive Directors are experienced with marketing and public speaking is a plus. Requirements include being up to date and CORE certified in Florida. A level II criminal background check will be required prior to employment.

The Executive Director will be responsible for:

·Promoting the community externally and touring prospective residents

·Move in process with new residents

·Remaining current on open inventory, pending move-ins and potential move-outs

·Ensuring all state regulations and company policies are followed

·Establishing a positive rapport with local and state agencies and ensuring the community is survey ready at all times

·Implementation, negotiation and maintenance of certain community contracts

·Assisting in the development of budget

·Conducting regular team meetings

·Attending weekly director meetings

·Promoting an open-door policy for all residents, family members and associates

·Monitoring resident care on a daily basis

·Implementing the emergency procedures when necessary

·Leading the recruitment and selection process for new hires

·Coordinating training classes and orientation programs for new hires to ensure training is current and well documented

·Maintaining payroll records, evaluations, and personnel files
