Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Civil Estimator at Anglin Civil in Livonia, MI. The Heavy Civil Estimator will be responsible for estimating the costs of earthmoving projects, managing project budgets, analyzing blueprints and specifications, preparing bids, and communicating with subcontractors and clients to ensure accurate project estimates.
Qualifications
- Experience in cost estimation, project budgeting, and analysis of blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of heavy civil construction processes and materials
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Professional certification or license is a plus
