Animal Care Center is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We are looking for compassionate, motivated team players who are committed to excellent client service and love animals of all shapes and sizes.
Experience in a veterinary office is a plus; confidence around animals is a must. The ideal candidate:
- Comfortable around small and large animals (canine, feline, bovine, equine, and more)
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Remains calm in emotional and fast-paced environments
- Positive, upbeat and cheerful attitude
- Committed to a career in veterinary medicine with interest in growth and ongoing training
Responsibilities:
- Client education and communication
- General cleaning
- Gentle patient restraint
- Assist with appointments
- Outpatient procedures
- Lab work and pharmacy duties
- Administering medication, vaccines, and injections
- M-F with some weekends
