Timbavati Wildlife Park’s Animal Care department is looking for an experienced Animal Care Specialist to join their team.
This candidate will have a previously proven work history as an Animal Care Specialist within a zoo and/or wildlife park. This will be a fast-paced, hands-on position that provides quality animal care, detailed animal husbandry and comprehensive record-keeping, along with daily enrichment activities for a variety of animal species.
The animal care team is also an integral part of providing park guests with memorable and educational experiences through guided tours, encounters and presentations.
This will be a full-time, year-round position working 40 hours per week. The scheduled shift hours will vary with the seasons:
- Open-Season (May-October): 7am-3:30pm & 10:30am-7pm
- Off-Season (November-April): 8am-4pm
