Here at VCA Durant Road Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Pet Resort Assistant! Experience is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their pets who utilize our facility for boarding and doggie daycare. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Walking dogs • Cleaning enclosures used to house dogs and cats • Feeding, medicating, and caring for dogs and cats as well as monitoring the wellbeing of our boarders and communicating with Veterinarians and Technicians when necessary • Supervising doggie daycare sessions; we split groups based on size and run doggie daycare for two sessions (three hours each) during the week and one session on the weekends • Providing grooming services such as bathing, nail trims, etc. • Helping with cleaning duties such as laundry, washing dishes, etc. • Sanitizing and maintaining hospital premises • Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians when necessary We offer competitive compensation and great benefits for eligible employees, including generous personal pet care discounts! We are searching for a part-time associate who would be scheduled approximately 20 hours a week. Candidate must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays as we are a boarding facility and operate 365 days a year caring for pets.
