The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), one of New England’s leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a compassionate Animal Care and Transport Associate to join our Community Operations department in our Boston location. This is a full-time position.
Who we are:
The ARL is a leader in animal protection by keeping animals out of shelters with their people and by working to prevent neglect and abuse. While we make every effort possible to help keep an animal where they belong, some animals in need will make their way into our shelters. ARL’s Animal Care and Adoption services include intake and surrender, shelter and care, behavioral assessment, enrichment, and adoption. ARL has animals of many types, breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments at our adoption centers looking for permanent homes. These services are offered at three centers located in Boston, Brewster, and Dedham.

What you will do:
- Operate ARL's Transport Waggin' to safely transport animals between our three locations, or to and from outside organizations;
- Collaborate with our Law Enforcement and Field Services departments to assist as needed;
- Complete intake procedure for animals entering our care;
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Transport Waggin' and ensure the vehicle is well-stocked with supplies each day.
