The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), one of New England’s leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a full-time Visitor Service Liaison to join our organization. This position is based in our Brewster, Cape Cod location.

For 125 years, ARL has responded to the needs of animals and supported a community in which animals are protected, safe, and healthy - in homes and out of shelters. We provide high quality veterinary care, adoption, and rescue services, while also confronting the root causes of animal cruelty and neglect through innovative community programs, humane law enforcement, and public advocacy. As we look ahead into the next chapter of our organization’s rich history, our task is to ensure that ARL remains an unwavering champion for animals in need, as well as an essential resource for the people who care for them, and a committed partner for communities where they live. What you will do:
Use your skills to make a difference by becoming a part of one of the best and oldest animal welfare organizations! Here’s how:
- Welcome and assist visitors and clients at the Brewster Animal Care and Adoption Center in a friendly and courteous manner;
- Answer the telephone promptly, provide callers with excellent customer service, and transfer calls if needed;
- Respond to inquiries by email and forward messages if needed;
- Manage flow of foot traffic in the Brewster Animal Care and Adoption Center as needed during adoption hours.
The schedule for this position is 30 hours/week, Wednesday-Sunday 12:30pm-6:00pm. This schedule is benefits-eligible.
