What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist II position at Ankle & Foot Care Specialist?
Plans, organizes and implement practice policies and procedure
Interface with our billing company to optimize and streamline billing, coding and collections.
Develop an office environment with a strong attention to detail, expectations of outstanding customer service, and professional support to the medical and administrative teams.
Oversee financial management of the office and implement processes and procedures to ensure responsible financial management of the practice.
Oversee electronic medical records data entry & quality control.
Ensure Corporate Compliance for all billing issues.
Communicate with insurance companies and obtain prior authorizations for DME and procedures.
Respond to patient complaints and questions as needed.
Provide clinic employees with policies, procedures and protocols required for clinic operations
Manage aspects of information technology with firm grasp of computers and applicable software programs
Maintains physician licensing, malpractice insurance, and CME's with CAQH updates
Prepares monthly financial spreadsheets and reporting to physicians
Processes daily deposits and revenues & bi-weekly payroll
Required:
High school or GED
Vaild Drivers License
Reliable transportation
Preferred, but NOT Required:
CPR
Customer Service: 1 year
Computer Skills: 1 year
Fluent in Arabic or Chaldean a plus
Medical Receptionist Certificate or currently enrolled student
The position will be 32 hours a week, In the office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until fully trained. Once fully trained additional hours will be available, if so desired.
Hours per week: 30-39
