Duties
- Serve ice cream, toppings, and other menu items to customers with a friendly demeanor.
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the serving area, kitchen, and dining spaces.
- Assist with food preparation, including scooping ice cream and preparing toppings.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Perform bussing duties to keep the dining area tidy and inviting for guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
