Executive and Personal Assistant to Principal of Interior Design Studio

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced assistant to support the Principal in day-to-day operations and client interactions. Job Description: The Principal of our interior design studio is looking for an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented executive and personal assistant. This position requires someone who is proactive, thrives independently, and is capable of managing a mix of administrative and personal tasks while ensuring smooth operations in a creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Oversee the Principal’s business and personal schedules, coordinate meetings, calls, and events, and align professional commitments with personal needs.
- Travel Arrangements: Organize and manage travel plans and itineraries.
- Meeting Support: Take detailed notes during meetings and calls and assist in tracking follow-up items and project deliverables.
- Project Tracking: Organize, prioritize, and monitor the Principal’s tasks, deadlines, and ongoing projects, ensuring all details are up to date.
- Studio Support: Handle administrative studio duties, including stocking supplies, setting up for client meetings, managing catering for events, and maintaining a polished studio environment.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with various special projects as they arise.
- Personal Assistance: Run personal errands and coordinate tasks as needed to support the Principal.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the highest regard for client and personal confidentiality.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an executive/personal assistant, preferably within a creative or design-oriented environment.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Proactivity: Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Apple IOS, and any relevant design studio software.
- Confidentiality: A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
