Registered Nurse (RN) - Antelope Valley Care Center

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and medical histories.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care across various settings.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Skills
The following skills are essential or beneficial for this position:

• Proficiency in performing spinal taps and understanding occupational health practices.
• Experience with ostomy care and neonatal ventilator management.
• Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation.
• Competence in home community care settings, including CT (Computed Tomography) procedures.
• Understanding of memory care techniques for patients with cognitive impairments.
• Strong lifting skills to assist patients safely when necessary.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.32 per hour
