Anytime Fitness is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. This is an entry-level position based in our Bethany, OK location. Industry experience is not required, but first-rate people skills and a self-motivated work ethic are! Work in a fun, upbeat atmosphere where every day is different.
Entry Level General Manager:
The perfect applicant will be a team leader, have a passion for health and fitness, and most importantly, be a great representative of our brand! To be considered for this position, you must be a high-energy self-starter, have an extroverted personality, be a good motivator/coach, and enjoy sales, marketing, and building a great culture in the club.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the membership sales pipeline.
- Schedule appointments with potential new members.
- Meet with prospects to discuss their fitness goals and deliver sales presentation.
- Establish and maintain a positive presence in the local community.
- Help maintain a clean and inviting environment for members.
- Develop and nurture relationships with prospective members through outreach calls, appointment setting, and club tours.
- Manage facility operations to include maintaining standards, managing staff, and providing excellent customer service.
- Be an ambassador of the Anytime Fitness brand.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Sales & management experience is a plus but not required.
- Passion for health and helping others.
- Ability to maximize sales opportunities and achieve personal sales goals.
- Self-motivated and hard working.
- Strong leadership ability.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Comfortable with local, community-based networking.
Compensation and Schedule:
Compensation will include base earnings plus commission and bonus potential. Total earnings will range from $30,000 to $35,000 annually.
Staff hours are Monday-Thursday from 10am-7pm and Fridays from 10am-5pm. Staffing may mandate some Saturdays from 9am-12pm.
