Requirements:A good candidate will enjoy working in a health club environment, have a friendly, outgoing personality, and genuinely care about helping others. Willing to learn sales skills to increase memberships. Able to multi-task and excel in a busy environment. Functional computer skills required - MS Office basic programs (word, excel), Internet, Basic computer program software use. Solid verbal and written communication skills required. Social Media Marketing & Advertising experience is a Plus.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Membership Sales and Lead Generation- Selling memberships and calling potential members on the phone and asking them to stop in to see our club. Establishes and maintains an effective referral program. Conducts telephone inquiries/follow up calls/customer care calls. Greets members and guests promptly, enthusiastically and with a smile to create a friendly positive entrance into fitness center.
Community Involvement- We love being a part of the local community - even if it means working on a Saturday. There are countless opportunities to get outside the club and promote our business.
Networking / Employee Wellness- We work with a network of local and national employers and insurance companies that try to encourage their employees to lead healthier lifestyles. Making contacts is the first step - then we try to find a solution that helps everyone.
Member Experience- The most important aspect of all! Members need to experience a top-notch gym atmosphere with great customer service.
Staffed Hours: Staffed hours are subject to change based on season and scheduled events. Staff hours will vary from 10:00 am – 6:30 pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays 10:00 am - 1pm. This is a part-time position and hours will vary from 24 - 28 hours per week. Scheduled work hours will typically vary each week.
