St. Joseph School in Cockeysville has an immediate need for a substitute school nurse. School hours are Monday- Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Essential Functions
- Provide nursing assessment and treat injuries and illnesses.
- Dispense medication as prescribed
- Maintain student health records in accordance with the Health Department of MD and the
- Department of Catholic Schools.
- Disseminate health information to administration, faculty, staff, students and parents as appropriate and necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
Position Qualifications
- Registered nurse, licensed in the state of Maryland.
- Prior experience working with a diverse age group is preferred.
- Current CPR certification
