Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Trainer to join our team. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering effective training programs to enhance the sales skills and performance of our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, training development, and performance management.
Duties:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training programs to new and existing sales team members
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement
- Create engaging training materials, including presentations, job aids, and e-learning modules
- Utilize various training methods, such as classroom training, role-playing exercises, and online learning platforms
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through data collection and analysis
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to sales team members to enhance their performance
- Collaborate with HR sourcing to identify top talent for the sales team
- Assist in the recruiting process by conducting interviews and assessing candidates' sales skills
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales techniques and training development
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of performance management principles and practices
- Experience in developing and delivering effective sales training programs
- Proficient in data collection and analysis to measure training effectiveness
- Familiarity with HR sourcing strategies for identifying top sales talent
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
- Strong research skills to stay current with industry trends and best practices
- Technical writing skills to create clear and concise training materials
- Proficiency in Adobe Captivate or other e-learning authoring tools is a plus
- Knowledge of human capital management systems is preferred
