Apex Systems is looking for an entry level Natural Gas Lab Technician for an immediately available role primarily preforming GC (Gas Chromatography) testing. This position is with a growing company working within the Oil and Gas industry and will pay $25/hr.
This position will require both indoor and outdoor work, regardless of weather conditions.
The shifts for this position will be 7AM to 7PM and 7PM to 7AM. The candidate will work an alternating schedule, including weekends:

2 days off
3 days
2 days off
3 nights
2 days off
4 days
8 days off
Responsibilities:
- Preparing solutions, cylinders and any other equipment needed to collect samples.
- Collecting requested field samples according to recognized methods and SOPs
- Log in samples upon return to lab
- Perform physical and gas chromatography testing of samples. Copper Corrosion testing. Titrations.
- Using LIMS systems to log results.
- Running testing and analyze and record results
- Provide a legible chain of custody and thorough notes related to sample details and testing results.
- Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment and instruments.
- Shifts for this position will be 7AM to 7PM and 7PM to 7AM. The candidate will work an alternating schedule, including weekends.
