What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vinyl Graphics Operator position at Apex Sign Group?
As a Vinyl Graphic Specialist with our growing Manufacturing Team, some of the job duties performed will include:
- Working with vinyl applications and print production
- Preparing vinyl for application which includes cutting and trimming per job specification
- Weed, tape, and apply vinyl to various substrates
- Following blueprints and layout specifications
- Reviewing the job orders and artwork with the Floor Supervisor
- Ability to work with different types of installation machines, "flat bed applicators," such as rolls roller and roll-to-roll laminators
- Additional duties to assist in other manufacturing areas as needed
Qualifications, requirements and education required for the Vinyl Graphic Specialist position include:
- Working knowledge of vinyl application and print productions
- Graphics installation experience
- Works well in team environment
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some trade school coursework preferred
Physical requirements for the Vinyl Graphic Specialist position include:
Must have good hand-eye coordination and be able to regularly lift and/or move 20 to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Able to work on your feet for the majority of the day. The work is performed primarily indoors, and there are extreme changes to temperature and humidity within the plant and office area.
