Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to be able to build high-quality requirements
• Use a variety of techniques to understand, visualize and document business requirements
• Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions
• Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements
• Partner with business and delivery teams to prioritize requirements based on business value
• Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder group by facilitating stakeholder discussions, and escalate issue where appropriate
• Lead requirement scoping throughout the intake or delivery processes
• Create artifacts as appropriate
• Support delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted; oversee user acceptance testing
• Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps
• Translate requirements into user stories or Agile tasks, if needed
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 5-6 years of experience in business analysis
• Background in financial and insurance services is preferred
• Business analysis certification is preferred
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA, SmartSheets, and MSFT Suite
