Release Manager
Large Banking Client
Hybrid 3x/week onsite in Atlanta GA, Kennesaw GA, Plano TX, Addison TX, Richmond VA, or Chicago IL
12 month contract
On a W2 basis ONLY (no corp to corp or 1099)
Pay: $60-$64hr W2
Top requirements:
- 7-10 years of exp as a Release Manager
- Project planning and implementation planning experience
- MS project, JIRA
- Agile methodologies
Job Description:
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables with usually required engagement from multiple teams, such as a project or BAU items
Key responsibilities include communicating the release objective, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end to end visibility to the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the quality and timelines. They facilitate sync points across multiple organization to enable delivery.
Required Skills:
Understand release/deployment components.
Understand risks and can ally controls necessary to mitigate.
Facilitate team planning ceremonies against release milestones. Ability to answer team Agile/waterfall framework questions.
Ability to understand big picture and connect all details.
