Job Details:
We are currently building out a back-office financial team that will be working to support a financial product and back-office operations and escalations for a leading Technology Client. The front-office team will be fielding questions directly from the customer and handling customer interaction and customer-facing issues, while the back-office team will be responsible for handling escalations research that entail core operations, disputing transactions, payment deferment, complaints, etc. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the back-office team operations including: managing performance, managing timecards, project duties, reporting, delegating, escalations, etc.

- Issues Management: Manage and resolve issues that arise in the back-office operations.
- Complaint Management: Handle customer complaints efficiently and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Payments / Mailed in Checks: Process payments and handle checks mailed in by customers.
- Physical Mail: Review and respond to physical mail received from customers.
- Financial/banking background
- 3 years of experience in leadership and operations in a corporate setting
- Experience guiding mid-sized to large teams
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to handle escalations
- Able to identify production risks and manage production processes
- Core operations/back-office operations experience
- Eye for detail, organized, task-driven, strong verbal & written communication
- Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment where policies and procedures are in the developmental stages
