Youth Support Workers – Full Time and Part Time availability in Cherry Hill New Jersey for Crossroads Programs, an affiliate with Apis Services Inc. Crossroads Programs is looking for compassionate and eager professionals to join their team in a rewarding career working with youth living in a residential group home.
Youth Support Workers Job Duties:
- Provide quality care to children with intellectual developmental disabilities as well as those with trauma in their background.
- Transport individuals to appointments and activities as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation using an online system.
- Assist with daily living activities such as cooking meals, laundry, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
- Administer medications.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience providing direct support to children with intellectual disabilities in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting and a high school diploma.
OR
- 1 years of experience providing direct support to children with intellectual disabilities, a Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field.
AND ALSO:
- Valid NJ/PA Driver's License.
- Ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.
- Must pass Criminal Record History, Child Abuse History Clearance, Physical & Drug Screening.
