Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, CPI, NIHSS
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses include chest pain, CHF, ESRD, anemia, abdominal pain; We use team nursing - each RN is responsible for assessments and oversite of 8 patients and along with an LPN/Paramedic and a PCT they complete tasks and medication administration.
Ratio / Census: 1:8; 16 Rooms with average daily census of 16
Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
Floating: Yes within the facility as needed
Call Requirements: None
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
