What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Coder position at APN Software Services Inc?
General Comments
Coding Department employees have the option to flex their schedule according to the guidelines defined in the policy, provided the departmental / individual goals are being met. In the absence of prior written approval, deviations from the guidelines set forth in this policy will result in disciplinary action.
PROCEDURE :
Clock-in time flexibility
Employees may clock in for work any time within the timeframes noted below :
Hospital Coding- 4 AM to 11 AM
Advanced approval is required from the Coding Supervisor if a start time is outside the timeframes noted above; Arrival before or after the timeframes above will result in a tardy according to the corporate attendance policy.
Employees may not work later than 8 : 00 pm.
Prior written approval from the Coding Supervisor is also required to work on a Sunday before 7 : 00am.
