$100-$120,000 annually - commensurate with experience

Dining Rooms/ Food & Beverage Manager Opportunity at APOGEE
APOGEE is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Dining Rooms/ Food & Beverage Manager to lead the daily operations of our dining venues. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service, overseeing front-of-house staff, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our members and guests. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. Club or upscale dining experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
• Manage daily dining room operations including breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events ensuring service excellence and adherence to club standards
• Maintain a strong floor presence during service hours
• Supervise, train, and schedule front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and support staff
• Greet and interact with members and guests, fostering positive relationships and anticipating needs
• Monitor service flow, table settings, cleanliness, and overall dining room appearance
• Collaborate with the Culinary and kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate, and beautifully presented food service
• Handle member inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and discretion
• Support private dining and banquet events, including setup, execution, and service coordination
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Monitor inventory of dining room supplies and coordinate with purchasing as needed
• Assist with menu knowledge training, wine service standards, and upselling strategies
• Prepare reports on service performance, staffing, and member feedback as required
Job Requirements include the following, but are not limited to:
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fine dining, private club, or luxury hospitality management
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
• Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and spirits.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Commitment to delivering a world-class member experience
• Strong leadership, financial acumen, and operational management skills
• In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food and beverage trends, and fine dining service standards
• Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees
• Self-motivated with desire to promote and market
• Service and customer focused attitude
• Experienced in written and oral business communications
• Remain up to date on customer relationship management tactics and strategies
• Experienced computer user including Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, tournament, and database
• Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community
