ADMISSIONS LEAD COORDINATOR

Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art facility conveniently located at 9938 airline highway in the heart of the city at the intersection of I-12 and Airline Hwy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review intake packets daily and improve the referral conversion rate
- Conduct patient assessments in the community
- Collects data for QAPI on intakes
- Maintains the schedule of the Intake staff
- Cover intake shifts as needed if not able to find coverage
- Set goals for each intake staff member and help them to reach the goal
- Coordinate with the administrator in recruiting intake staff for open positions
- Train intake staff and hold them accountable to meet the goals
- Maintain relationships with all the ERs in the state
- Maintain community relations for our hospital with a focus of maintaining an average paying daily census of twenty-three in our twenty-four bed hospital facility
- Communicates with physicians and Director of Nursing about possible admissions
Skills Needed:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Should be able to work with minimal supervision
- Organized and self-disciplined
- Thorough documentation and communication skills
Education/Experience/License required:
- At least two three years of admissions for psychiatric patients experience preferred
