Apollo Corporation, located in Somerset, Wisconsin has been the industry leader and champion of innovation in bathing systems, infection control and skin care for over 40 years, serving the needs of Long Term Care and Senior Care professionals while delighting their residents.
We are seeking a Production Technician to join our team to build and assemble whirlpool bathing systems, package products for shipment, and manufacturing and shipping of spa and skin care products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assembles parts, subassemblies, and tubs according to the blueprints and written instructions.
- Assists in bead blasting stainless steel parts for the assembly process.
- Works at different workstations as production needs require.
- Assists in taking inventory of production items.
- Fills Spa and Skin Care Products in proper containers per specifications and work instructions.
- Stamps lot codes on bottles and boxes.
- Participates in packaging of finished goods.
- Unloads incoming products.
- Operates pallet jack to lift and move parts and products.
- Maintains a clean and safe production area and complies with company safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good attention to detail.
- Knowledge of PVC bonding and soldering a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and cross train on several operations.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
- Dependability and punctuality.
