Food Production Line Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes adhere to industry standards, including FDA regulations and HACCP guidelines. This position requires a commitment to food safety, sanitation, and quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

Duties

• Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with CGMP standards.
• Follow established procedures for food safety and sanitation to maintain a clean working environment.
• Assist in the packaging of finished products while ensuring compliance with quality specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain efficiency.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and maintaining accurate records.
• Safely operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the facility.

Skills

• Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and CGMP practices related to food production.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food processing or the food industry is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ability to perform packaging tasks efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate measurement and record keeping.
