TRANSIT VAN DETAILER
REPORTS TO: Division Director of Transportation
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Demonstrated ability to perform general cleaning and sanitation.
- High School diploma preferred.
SUMMARY:
Provide vehicle cleaning services for Four County Transit which includes all buses and facility as needed. Keeps the facility and work area in clean and orderly condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean interior of vehicles as needed.
- Clean exterior of vehicles as needed.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Focus on a safe work area and practices.
- Empty trash containers daily.
- Clean restrooms and other parts of the facility when requested, to include but not limited to, mopping and disinfecting.
- Keep outside of facility (sidewalk, parking lot) clear of debris.
- Mows and trims lawn, using mowers and hand and power trimmers as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Division Director of Transportation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
