Job Description Summary:
The Program Supervisor is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) responsible for delivering a full range of clinical services to children and adolescents in their assigned cottage. They are assigned as the primary clinician/case manager for children and adolescents in a cottage program. They have the overall responsibility for the cottage treatment team, cottage residents, program fidelity and the milieu of the cottage. They have broad based authority and responsibility for the therapeutic program. They provide services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance abuse and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. They demonstrates a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of recovery. They will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. They report administratively to the Clinical Supervisor of Turnaround Ranch.
Responsibilities:
·Responsible for providing direct clinical services to clients and their families as identified by the guardian in the form of individual, group, and family therapy
- Ongoing responsibility of working with the cottage supervisor and TCM to create an effective team which provides each aspect of the client’s treatment plan
- Provide on-going training, consultation and clinical knowledge concerning the clients in care to the treatment team in order to increase the effectiveness, cohesion, and unification of the cottage-based team.
- Communicate all environmental and daily living concerns to the Clinical Director or operations supervisor.
- Create treatment plans with the client and guardian that are focused on the needs of the client to allow them to be in a less restricted environment.
- Collaborate with the treatment team members to help the client reach the identified objectives on ITP.
- Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor and/or the Clinical Director.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Normal office environment.
- Working in cottage with children/adolescents.
- Occasional evening or weekend work.
- Physical interaction with children/adolescents may occur.
- Typical physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed.
- Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours.
