Working within Appian’s Marketing and Sales teams and reporting to the Director of Field Marketing, North America, the Senior Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping to conceptualize, design, manage and execute Marketing programs to drive campaigns designed to grow and accelerate net new and expansion sales pipeline and revenue. This role will be highly strategic and will also be responsible for operational, implementation and execution of marketing programs, as well as post-program reporting and activities. The role will also help to onboard and mentor new Field Marketing team members with potential to manage members of the team.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Strategic Account Portfolio Vice Presidents to strategically identify, recommend and implement lead generation activities for North American Strategic Accounts

Help develop and execute account-based marketing activities to align with account specific territory plans and enable lead generation activities for the region

Conduct research and develop feasibility studies to identify new opportunities for Appian

Regularly manage and review campaign performance metrics with key stakeholders, including leads and ROI by campaign, channel, and source

Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budget for Field programs

Help foster Sales and Marketing alignment through regular updates, reporting and reviews

Understand and help to communicate marketing strategy, value proposition, positioning and messaging to regional Sales Executives so that they are aware, knowledgeable and “enabled” with the latest and most powerful content for effective use in sales cycles

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote Appian’s brand

Source venues, acquire supporting technology, coordinate development of materials (in some cases as it relates to trade shows) to execute a quality program

Understand enterprise sales cycles, coordinate and carry out project deliverables on schedule and to budget

Ability to travel up to 20% (when in-person programs re-start)
About You:

At least 7 years experience in a Senior Field Marketing Role in an Enterprise Software environment

Bachelor’s Degree
-
Proven success working collaboratively with Sales Teams and Sales Leadership

Experience in crafting results-driven marketing programs that drive pipeline growth

Ability to think critically and creatively while multitasking and meeting strict deadlines

Excellent presentation, project management and ROI reporting skills

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment

Flexible, organized, and detail oriented
