What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Cart / Snack Bar / Halfway House Attendant position at Apple Mountain?
The Putter’s Pointe / Beverage Cart Attendant team member will be trained to provide guests with service at the Putter’s Point Snack Bar, The Halfway House and from an on-course beverage cart. The Attendant will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional, dignified manner, and inform management of potential service and product issues before they arise. You will perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at the end of your shift.

Interviews for this position will start in March. Scheduled shifts will begin in mid/late April (weather dependent) and preference will be given to applicants who have availability for the entire 2023 golf season (typically through late October or early November).
Interest in cross-training as a banquet server/bartender and restaurant server is preferred.
Putter’s Pointe / Beverage Cart Attendant Responsibilities:
- Greets customers and takes orders; provides information about menus; looks for opportunity to up-sell products.
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Taking inventory and monitoring supplies to ensure work areas are well-stocked.
- Assists with a variety of light kitchen-related functions as needed
- Ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing kitchen equipment/beverage cart.
- Performing closing duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and cleaning the beverage cart.
Putter’s Pointe / Beverage Cart Attendant Requirements:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Experience in a food and beverage setting is preferred.
- Courteous and attentive to guests.
- Available to work shifts, extended hours, over weekends and holidays.
- Physically fit, agile, and dexterous.
- Proficient time-management skills.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
